Of the Meaning of Our Lives shows us artistic options of how to document, archive and catalogue our lives. Based on their own biography, Sandra Filic and Peggy Meinfelder grapple with the different ways how reality and life are being presented. They also raise the question how our subjective memories, facts and current events are compatible with each other.

After finishing her training as a stone mason, Peggy Meinfelder (*1975 in Hildburghausen) studied product design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart, as well as Fine Art in Munich and at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, at Fritz Rahman and Olaf Metzel, amongst others. Peggy Meinfelder lives and works in Munich.

Sandra Filic (*1974 in Nasice/Croatia) finished her training as a Fashion and Communication Designer, followed by studying Fine Arts in Munich with Asta Gröting, finishing as a Master student with Magdalena Jetelová. Sandra Filic has been living and working in Munich since 1986.

Jointly, Peggy Meinfelder and Sandra Filic founded the female artist group "Expedition Medora" in 2005. Both artists regularly take part in national and international exhibitions.
