Florian Bunner (*1977 in Erding) focuses on wood. His passion for the soft, lively and diverse material grew slowly but steadily. Wood also was the constant factor during his forestry studies and as a landscape architect until it became the center of his interest during his formation years as a sculptor in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. He finished his studies in Michael von Brentano's and Herbert Nauderer's class in 2009 and was awarded with the 2nd prize of the Josef Hannappel Foundation in the same year. For 2 years now, Florian Bunner has been focusing on figures in various shapes and forms. His exhibition at E324 | Raum für Kunst is his first exhibition after terminating his studies.
