Installation

"all that I ever wished for" is a room installation by Annegret Bleisteiner, who works with mixed media and video. The installation contains a plethora of objects from our daily routine and biography, collected, stored, and organized. Annegret Bleisteiner uses these things to build a monumental image, sorted from compositional and colour aspects.

The compilation of items can be compared to a sampling, not considering high or low quality, but just drawing on the abundance and über-abundance which surrounds us anytime and anywhere. Under this constant overload, there is no time for the choosing and balancing self, therefore it can only collect, hoard and cram. The horror comes in bright colours!
