Daisuke Ogura / Opening: Friday, December 16, 7 - 9pm

E324 invites you to join our last opening!

On December 16, the last opening of the three-piece cycle City - Stadt - Toshi, curated by Marion von Schabrowsky, will take place. Daisuke Ogura was born in Hyogo, Japan in 1976. His primary source of inspiration is the urban space. He focuses on architecture, streets, and construction sites. The material, structures and fragments used in this context are being picked up by Daisuke Ogura and transformed into seemingly architectural works, which not only impress by their clear design but also raise questions about our perception of urban space in general. Daisuke Ogura studied sculpture in Tokyo and came to Munich's Academy of Fine Arts in 2003, where is graduated as a master student with Professor Norbert Prangenberg. Daisuke Ogura lives and works in Munich. This exhibition is kindly supported by the Karin Abt-Straubinger foundation.
